Club News - November 11 2013

Recent Updates:

The Leinster Cross Country 2013 even ages championship was held in Dunboyne, County Meath on Sunday October 27th; Rosin Treacy, Emily Bateman and Holly Byrne represented the club in the under 12 and under 14 races.

Round 2 of the Juvenile League was held at Bray Emmets on Friday 1st November. Despite the bitterly cold conditions we had a great turn out on the night and everyone ran extremely well so well done to all our runners, you did us very proud. Thanks as always to the runners, parents and volunteers who make these events run smoothly.

Hot chocolate and cookies all-round afterwards, helped keep the cold at bay.

The Leinster Cross Country 2013 uneven ages was held on the 10th November in Adamstown Co. Wexford, a massive well done to Roisin Treacy who ran in the under 13 event and finished 13th of a field of 100+ Athletes, this result is all the more impressive given Roisin was running out of her actual age group (Under 12). Roisin is now through to both the even ages nationals being held in Santry this Sunday (November 17th) in Santry and the uneven age nationals being held in WIT in December. Well done Roisin.
